What began as a technical challenge evolved into more than seven years of research, engineering, testing and industrial development.
Rather than focusing on a single product, The Hydrogen Innovation Company built an integrated platform combining hydrogen science, measurement, process engineering, production deployment and commercial application.
Each phase informed the next. Scientific questions led to better measurement. Measurement shaped engineering. Engineering became implementation discipline. Implementation created a foundation for scalable applications, partnerships and licensing.
The company story is presented as development phases, keeping the emphasis on capability rather than invented chronology.
Early work began on hydrogen behaviour, product performance and practical application.
THIC developed methods and sensor systems for understanding hydrogen concentration, retention and microbubble behaviour.
Hydrogen infusion, transfer, filling and sealing became one connected technical process.
Laboratory and pilot methods were translated into repeatable commercial production routines.
Hydrogen-infused water supplied by THIC was evaluated in controlled human research.
The company established operational presence in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom and developed relationships across international markets.
European patent application EP 26155290.5 was filed for high-retention hydrogen infusion and controlled beverage filling.
Science, implementation, applications, licensing support and digital operations became one operating platform.
The THIC Platform turns scientific understanding into reusable technical capability across measurement, engineering, implementation, licensing and commercial development.
Instead of treating each project as an isolated experiment, the platform carries knowledge forward. Research defines questions, measurement creates evidence, engineering shapes systems and validated implementation supports future applications, partners and markets.
THIC is structured around the work required to make hydrogen technology measurable, repeatable and commercially useful.
Research, clinical validation and measurement establish the technical foundation.
THIC studies dissolved hydrogen, visible microbubble behaviour and the influence of pressure, temperature and sampling.
The company develops integrated hydrogen systems rather than isolated pieces of equipment.
Validated processes are translated into deployment, training, production routines and quality controls.
Technology, implementation, applications and partner models are developed from one shared technical foundation.
The Hydrogen Innovation Company combines its Dutch technology and manufacturing foundation with a commercial presence in the United Kingdom.
From these locations, THIC works with researchers, manufacturers, technology partners, sports organisations, distributors and commercial collaborators across international markets.

The Hydrogen Innovation Company B.V. has filed a European patent application relating to an integrated method and system for reducing hydrogen loss during beverage production and filling.
The application addresses finely dispersed hydrogen, controlled low-turbulence filling, inert-gas headspace conditioning and coordinated sealing.
The European Patent Office issued the extended European search report on 30 June 2026. The application remains pending.
This is a pending European patent application and does not represent issued rights or confirmed claim scope.

Controlled human research supplied with THIC-developed hydrogen-infused water
THIC develops its own technologies and reference applications while also working with selected partners across science, licensing, implementation, OEM development and commercial application.
Every collaboration begins with a defined technical or commercial question. The platform then brings together the relevant scientific, engineering, production and operational capabilities.
Claims should follow evidence, not precede it.
Hydrogen performance depends on controlled variables and repeatable methods.
Results must be understood within the context of the method used.
Commercial scale requires discipline, documentation and quality control.
The strongest hydrogen applications are developed through shared knowledge and aligned interests.
Every project should contribute reusable knowledge to the broader platform.
Whether the opportunity begins with research, technology, production, licensing or commercial development, THIC provides a connected platform for moving from concept to controlled application.
